DYM Labs Light control system enables the user to efficiently control the several airfield lighting systems, such as the runway, approach, taxiway, stop bars, and apron. It is possible to turn on and off the lights singly or in groups. Specific lights can have their intensity adjusted at predetermined times.

Business Objective
  • Integrated monitoring of airport equipments associated with lighting control, individual lamps, and other critical lighting services.
  • To achieve operational and energy efficiencies.
  • To reduce the overall cost of running the lighting services.
DYM Solution
  • Due-dilligence: Site visit and understanding of airport lighting schematic; different light controllers used; connectivity etc.
  • Pilot: Installation of DYM gateway for a selected set of light controllers and lights; KPIs finalisation, overall project roadmap.
  • Scale: Scaling DYM light control solution to other areas of airport (WIP).
Benefits and KPIs
  • Reduced energy consumption
  • Safe manoveuring of ground traffic at an airfield
  • Single digital interface to operate the lights
  • KPIs measured :  Airport map view of On/off status, Energy consumption; Load energy ratio; Power outage; Energy efficiency
